Whitby Snow 2018

Back in January 2013 I shot a video of a snow weather event in my local area, then stitched the clips together into a full video that I uploaded to YouTube, and it has sinced notched up over 10,000 views.

I had a long wait to see enough snow again round here to be able to film the sequel, but on 27th February 2018, it finally happened.
It's taken me a while to get round to editing the footage (31st July / 1st August), but now it's finally up (see above, or Click Here to view it on my YouTube Channel).

Of course the original snow vid is still uploaded, as well as a less well viewed prequel to it from 2010.

So I briefly got off my ass early this morning to stretch me legs after being sat at the computer too long, and I saw this.......

Snow video I made

Back in January I made some short video clips of when it was snowing (ending up looking like frosty the snowman in the process), and stitched them all together with Corel VideoStudio Pro X5, then uploaded the result to Youtube + also embedded it to be viewed from my video albums on AlltheSocialNet.
It's already passed the 1,000 views mark, making it my first video on ye olde Youtube to do that.

Whitby's Piers are a bit more saved than they were

Work is still underway to replace the knackered footbridge over to the Pier Extension on Whitby's West Pier, with access closed off since about 11th June and work expected to be completed around 20th July 2012. Here's some pics I caught earlier in the week of the work in progress:

 I've also knocked together an unofficial Whitby Piers websites @ http://www.whitbypiers.org.uk/ to better co-ordinate the Facebook campaign, a petition to save the Piers & some guides to the Piers I wrote for my Whitby Website.
